Kim Christopherson is a proud southern girl and native of the great state of Virginia. She grew up in Colonial Heights, a small town outside of Richmond. She graduated from Emory & Henry College in southwestern Virginia, and then worked for several years in tobacco sales for Brown & Williamson Tobacco Corporation. After her aunt was murdered in 1994, she decided it was time finally to pursue her lifelong dream of attending law school. After graduating from the University of Montana School of Law in 2000, Kim practiced as a general civil litigation lawyer in Miles City and throughout eastern Montana. She has been practicing law in Kalispell and western Montana since 2006.
In 2002, Kim met her husband, Brent, who at the time was the Fire Chief for the city of Miles City, Montana. Brent is now the Assistant Chief of Fire Prevention for the Missoula Rural Fire District in Missoula, Montana. They live in Kalispell.
